Return to Belonging

Before you continue your journey, pause and remember that every meaningful relationship begins with a moment of presence.

Take one slow breath.

Now bring someone to mind—a person who has made you feel seen, supported, or simply glad to be yourself.

Notice what happens in your body as you think of them.

If you're traveling with someone today, turn to them and share one thing you've appreciated about this journey together.

If you're on your own, send a quick message to someone who feels like home.

It can be as simple as:

"Thinking of you today."

"I'm grateful for you."

"I hope you're doing well."

Or perhaps your practice is even simpler.

Smile at someone.

Thank the person who served your meal.

Strike up a conversation.

Offer kindness without expecting anything in return.

Before you continue, ask yourself:

"How can I create a little more belonging today—for myself or for someone else?"

Carry that intention with you.

May this be your reminder:

Connection isn't something we find. It's something we practice, one small moment of care at a time.
